Covid-19 update:
We plan to move forward with a modified summer program, but please note we may have to cancel some or all camp sessions due to covid-19 restrictions placed upon us. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
Unfortunately, for the moment we are not providing swimming lessons for our 2022 season.
After Camp Hour Swimming Lessons:
National Lifesaving Society Swimming Lessons are offered after hours during camps 1,2 and 3. (Levels 1-10, for ages 5-17).
Lessons start at 3:30 PM and end at 5:00 PM everyday, are 30 minutes in duration for up to 10 days. Lesson times may differ depending on student levels, available space and the weather!
Swimming lesson spots are limited –
For details, and to register for after-
There is a fee of $50.00 per student. No bikini or revealing swim suits, please.
Pick up instructions: Bus routes are not available after hours, so campers in swimming lessons need to be picked up from the camp. You must sign out your child from the pool doors. One of our staff will have a clipboard on hand.
Hope Valley Day Camp operates a 36′ by 80′ outdoor swimming pool for recreational swimming as part of its programs. Our pool is licensed and supervised by fully qualified lifeguards and instructors. Day campers have multiple opportunities to enjoy the pool during our regular day programs, so these lessons are not a requirement to attend camp or use the pool.
